Cell Pairing for Studying Immunity

چکیده

Cell-cell interactions are crucial for proper functioning of the immune system because direct cell-cell contacts largely govern the successful progression of adaptive immune responses. The heterogeneity inherent in these interactions plays a critical role in the functional outcome produced. Assessing the heterogeneity in the initial activation and connecting it with the endpoint function would, therefore, clarify the signaling cascades involved in the Authors: B. Dura, Y. Liu, J. توصیف برهم‌کنش‌های بس‌ذره‌ای هسته‌ای در چارچوب نظریه تغییر شکل کوانتومی

A fermion realization of compact symplectic algebra provides a natural framework for studying pairing correlations of many-body interactions in nuclei. Here, we use quantum deformation concept in order to describe pairing correlations in atomic nuclei. While the nondeformed limit of the theory provides a reasonable and overall description of certain nuclear properties and fine structure effects...

Myosin VI regulates gene pairing and transcriptional pause release in T cells.

Naive CD4 T cells differentiate into several effector lineages, which generate a stronger and more rapid response to previously encountered immunological challenges. Although effector function is a key feature of adaptive immunity, the molecular basis of this process is poorly understood. Here, we investigated the spatiotemporal regulation of cytokine gene expression in resting and restimulated...

A microfluidic approach towards hybridoma generation for cancer immunotherapy.

Dendritic cells/tumor fusions have shown to elicit anti-cancer immunity in different cancer types. However, the application of these vaccines for human cancer immunotherapy are limited by the instable quality and insufficient quanity of fusion cells. We present a cell electrofusion chip fabricated using soft lithography technique, which combines the rapid and precise cell pairing microstructure...

EVA LUATION OF THE ROLE OF CELL-MEDIATED IMMUNITY IN DERMATOPHYTOSIS

For demonstration of cell-mediated immunity and its role in the process of dermatophytosis, 98 patients with acute dermatophytosis (group I) and 131 chronic dermatophytosis patients (group 2) were chosen. In ail patients, lymphocyte transfonnation and skin test were used. 96 members of group I (98%) had positive delayed-type hypersensitivity (DTH) responses to trichophytin, whereas only 43 ...
